A Workshop on ” Sensitization on Financial Literacy and use of Digital Tools”(12-AUG-2022)
A workshop on ” Sensitization on Financial Literacy and use of Digital Tools” was held on 12/08/2022 at DSB International Public School Auditorium as a part of CBSE Hubs of Learning activity. Mr. Akash Gupta, CA, has conducted the session. He is a fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountant of India with approx. 6 years standing in the profession.
113 Teachers from different HOL schools ( Foothills Academy, Hopeway Public School, NDS School, Himalayan Public School, DSB International Public School) have attended the training session. The duration of program was 2 hours.
In the training session, Mr. Akash Gupte has explained various types of banking services, security threats, precautions while using financial services. He has also explained different financial investments namely mutual funds, NPS, equities etc.
It was very fruitful and knowledgeable session for all the teachers. Teachers have learnt about various financial terminologies.
2 Days Workshop on “Coding & Artificial Intelligence” (7th- Sept-2021 & 8th Sept-2021)
DSB INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC SCHOOL (HOL-lead Collaborator) in collaboration with Construkt learning Solutions Pvt. Ltd. has organised 2 days Online workshop on 7th Sept 2021 – 8th Sept 2021. The topic of workshop was Coding & Artificial Intelligence.
The speaker of the webinar was Ms. Neha Rajput (Director Online Operations) Construkt learning Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and Mr. Pramod Kumar (Presenter) Construkt learning Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
As the workshop aligned with current scenarios, “Workshop on Coding & Artificial Intelligence”- a good discussion has been done on promoting new ideas, design thinking, creative thinking, ideating and problem solving. Speakers also discussed about NEP 2020 and explained students about the importance of coding in coming future.
In this 2-day workshop, students of HOL schools learnt about programming basics. Around 100 students along with teachers from HOL member schools participated and were actively involved in discussion during the session. Students also raised their queries with both the speakers Miss Neha Rajput and Mr. Pramod Kumar and given their opinion on different problem-solving techniques. It was extremely informative, clear and well-presented. This event gave the opportunity to the students to interact live with both speakers and also provide them
the platform to clear their doubts in a one-to-one interaction. The event was successful and
was a great learning experience for each and every student present in the webinar.
A Workshop on ATL Activity -Tinkercad” (19th -May -2021)
A webinar on ATL Activity “Tinkercad” was organised by by lead collaborator DSB International public School, Rishikesh -ATL (Atal Tinkering Lab) for hubs of learning schools on 19th May 2021 by ATL department.
In this webinar, students of HOL schools learnt about the circuits, cells, connections, battery etc components. They came to know about the virtual circuits. Around 90 students had participated in the webinar and benefited themselves.
This event gave the opportunity to the students to interact live with the our ATL Incharge and also provide them the platform to clear their doubts in a one-to-one interaction. The event went successful, also it was a great learning experience for each and every student present in the webinar.
Workshop on HAPPY TEACHERS CREATE HAPPY SPACES

Under the learning programme of Hubs of Learning, a training programme was conducted by DSB International Public School,
on the topic “HAPPY TEACHERS CREATE HAPPY SPACES”.
The session was taken online by Ms. Anita Raturi(CBSE Resource Person), through google meet, starting at 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
More than 80 participants including teachers and principals from different schools were present online for the training programme.
The session was educative and had positive impact on the participants.
Workshop on Capacity Building
Date – 8- January – 2020
A capacity building programme was conducted for CBSE teachers at DSB International School Gumaniwala. It is an initiative taken by CBSE to enhance the teacher’s skill in using technology and innovation in order to benefit the students. The resource person was Mr Arvind Kishor Tariyal from Shri Aurobindo Society, Puducherry. He was welcomed by the principal DSB, Mr Shiv Sehgal. He introduced the trainee teachers about various teaching methods in detail. This training session included drama, acting, impromptu speech, group activity, solo activity, etc. as mediums. These trainings help the teachers to know about the changes being brought in by the council in order to better the teaching learning programme. CBSE affiliated schools from Rishikesh region participated in the training programme.
